VLG Counselling Inc.

VLG Counselling was originally opened by Veronica Greer in Oak Bay in the spring of 2019. The practice was started with the specific intent of being able to provide specialized therapy and supports to the LGBTQ2SIA+ community and be a safe space for those who need it. Now, we have grown to have three counselling therapists, and two support staff in our practice. We can’t wait to see where we go next.

In 2022, Emily Coldwell joined us as a student practitioner, and then in 2023, we welcomed Susan MacDonald as a Neurodivergence Consultant for families and children. We are also looking to hire one or two more practitioners in 2023 so please contact us.

Due to a lack of business spaces in Esquimalt, we have offices in Langford and Uptown Mall but continue to be based in Esquimalt through home visits and other services.
